Feeding Stray Animals
We regularly provide food and water support to stray animals. We help animals survive by meeting their basic needs, especially during winter months and difficult conditions. With the dedicated work of our volunteers, we reach stray animals throughout the city and ensure their healthy nutrition.
How Do We Work?
Food and Water Stations
We regularly set up food and water stations at various points throughout the city. Thanks to these stations, stray animals can access clean water and sufficient food every day. Each station we maintain is regularly checked by our volunteers, containers are cleaned and stocks are renewed. Especially during summer months, we fill water containers twice a day and ensure proper environmental conditions to prevent food spoilage.
Winter Feeding Program
We organize special feeding programs for stray animals struggling to find food in cold weather conditions during winter months. We increase animals' resilience to harsh winter conditions by providing denser and calorie-rich foods. Throughout winter, we double the frequency of our feeding tours, and also place warm corners and cat houses that animals can use as shelter in freezing cold. With the support of our donors, we distribute thousands of kilos of food every winter to ensure no living creature goes hungry.
Regional Tracking
We track the population and health status of stray animals through our volunteers in each region. We identify newly arrived or injured animals and intervene quickly. Our regional volunteer coordinators know every animal in their area and regularly prepare observation reports. Thanks to this system, we can detect population changes, disease symptoms and endangered animals early. We also create special nutrition programs for newborn puppies and kittens, closely monitoring their growth processes.
Volunteer Feeding Teams
We have volunteer teams participating in regular feeding tours. Every week, we distribute food along designated routes, trying to reach all living creatures on the streets. Our volunteers don't just distribute food — they also observe the general health conditions of the animals. Experienced team leaders accompany new volunteers, introducing them to the animals in the area and teaching safe approach methods. Our group feeding events on weekends offer great opportunities both to support animals and to build a spirit of solidarity among volunteers.
