We provide veterinary services and vaccination programs for the healthy lives of stray animals. We take care of the treatment of injured and sick animals, connecting recovered animals with loving homes. With our partner veterinary clinics and experienced field teams, we deliver healthcare to thousands of stray animals across Istanbul.
How Do We Work?
Vaccination Programs
We ensure stray animals are vaccinated against rabies, combination vaccines and other infectious diseases. We also contribute to public health through regular vaccination schedules. We update our vaccination program through seasonal risk assessments. We minimize animal stress by using the catch-vaccinate-release method in the field. We keep vaccination records digitally so we can track the health history of each animal.
Emergency Response
We respond quickly to injured, sick or accident-stricken stray animals. We act immediately upon reports from our volunteers to get animals to treatment. Through our 24/7 active report line, we respond to emergency cases as quickly as possible. Our field teams operate equipped with basic first aid supplies and transport cages. We also pay attention to the post-trauma psychological recovery of accident-stricken animals, offering a compassionate care process.
Rehabilitation and Adoption
We house animals in the recovery process after treatment in temporary foster homes. We connect recovered animals with loving families through adoption. Our network of foster homes consists of loving environments created in the homes of our volunteer families. We conduct detailed interviews with candidates before adoption to ensure the animal will be happy in its new home. We also conduct regular check-ups during the first month after adoption to support the adjustment process.
Support Treatment Costs
You can save lives by covering the treatment costs of a stray animal. Veterinary expenses are one of our largest cost items, and with your support, we can reach many more animals.
